The Niigata Station Elevated Station Improvement Project is a redevelopment project promoted by JR East and JR East Niigata City Create, which plans to utilize the space created by the elevated railway to develop the commercial facility "CoCoLo Niigata." The store is located at 1-chome Hanazono, Chuo-ku, Niigata City, with a total floor area of ​​approximately 30,000 m2, a store area of ​​approximately 13,000 m2, and two floors above ground (partially three floors). Construction will be handled by Taisei Corporation, with construction expected to begin in 2022 and full opening in spring 2024. With approximately 170 stores, including stores opening in Niigata for the first time and a food culture promotion zone, we aim to become an urban hub that increases liveliness and convenience with a design that is in harmony with the local culture.
