Japan Youth Center/Japan Sports Promotion Center Headquarters Building

The Japan Youth Center/Japan Sports Promotion Center Headquarters Building Construction Project is a plan to integrate the Japan Youth Center and Japan Sports Promotion Center Headquarters in conjunction with the rebuilding of the National Stadium, and to construct a complex facility with a theater, offices, and a hotel in Kasumigaoka-cho, Shinjuku Ward. The building is approximately 70m high with 16 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, with a hall with 1,249 seats in the lower floors, offices in the middle floors, and a hotel with 220 rooms in the upper floors. With a design that inherits history and a green space, we aimed to create an architecture that harmonizes with the scenery of Jingu Gaien. The design is by Kume Sekkei, and the construction is by Hazama Ando.
